How to reach us
By car
From Ljubljana it is about 150 km, around two hours’ drive. From Austria you come via Tarvisio and the Predel pass, from Italy via Kobarid, and from Kranjska Gora in summer over the Vršič pass.
Parking
The car park is behind the house: free, no booking needed. You can’t reach it from the square; you drive round by the side streets. We send you directions before you arrive.

By bus

When
Bovec through the year
Summer
Rafting, kayaking and canyoning on the Soča and its tributaries. The agencies are on the square, one on the ground floor of our house. Hikes up the surrounding peaks and cycling along the valley.
Spring and autumn
The Boka and Virje waterfalls, Kluže fortress, the Soča gorges and the drive to the source of the Soča in Trenta. There is fishing on the Soča too.
Winter
The Kanin ski area above Bovec. The cable car valley station is an 18-minute walk from the house. Check with the ski area whether it is running.
